About Us
HealthWays started in 2003 which evolved from a program that involved partnership among several community-based health organizations and private medical providers in educating families and providers about public programs and services. The partnership conducted periodic education forums and community fairs to accomplish the following goals: to provide a venue for service agencies to learn about different services available in the community; educate medical providers about public programs and services; create awareness among community members about locally available services; and assisted families and individuals to access needed health coverage and other human services.
Our Mission
HealthWays promotes community empowerment by providing integrated assistance on health, education, livelihood, and self governance services to enhance the quality of life and wellbeing of underserved and high risk individuals and families.
